As the principal of gWave Consulting, Melani leads a team that helps clients enhance their Internet presence to build brand awareness through the use of search engine optimization, strategic marketing, and online marketing communications. gWave works with companies of all sizes, but has a special affinity for assisting startups with their initial Internet marketing endeavors.

Melani has more than 11 years of technology and Internet marketing experience. Prior to forming gWave, she served as marketing manager at an Internet technology company, where she led the marketing, branding and communication efforts to more than 18,000 real estate agents and brokers. Melani also has been a key player for several San Diego interactive agencies and Internet technology startups.

Widely considered as an Internet marketing expert, Melani’s knowledge has been showcased in Realty Success Magazine, Broker Agent News, Real Estate Tomato and Your Realty Insider, and she has been a featured speaker on World Talk Radio and for the National Association of Women Business Owners. Melani has also been a professor at the Fashion Institute, where she taught an e-commerce course.

Melani believes in giving back to the community and demonstrates that through her support of the San Diego chapter of Volunteers of America and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from San Diego State University.
