Anthology

THE CHALLENGE:

Attracting a new demographic and audience to the club. Anthology is a first-class live music and fine dining space in downtown San Diego. The primary audience is music lovers of Jazz, Rock, Latin, Indie and more.  Anthology participated in the recent San Diego Beer Week and received a great outcome to the beer, food pairing and Fresh Vibes event. The event brought a new audience and demographic. Anthology was thrilled with the ambience, vibe and new guests that SDBW and the craft beer fans brought to their venue.

Rather than be like everyone else and continue to praise wine and food events, they are looking to create a fresh new series of events.

THE TACTICS:

Using the power of social media, gWave assisted Anthology by creating a craft beer night series of events.

  • Chose craft beer event series dates.
  • Partnered with well-known San Diego area craft breweries.
  • The events were paired with amazing craft beer inspired menus, a collaboration between the Anthology chef and the head brewer.
  • Offered affordable $5 tickets to enjoy live music and drink your favorite craft beer.
  • Events promoted via local PR, Twitter, Facebook, email blasts, events blog, TapHunter.com, LegitRadio.com, SoundDiego.com and posting fliers at nearby venues.

THE RESULTS:

  • Increased Twitter & Facebook following exponentially over 3 month period
  • Increased share of voice and larger pool of people to market future events to.
  • Attracted a new demographic specific to craft beer fans who are brand loyal and attracts a mature, educated and affluent audience.
